Department for Young Entrepreneurs within the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (SCC) has launched the “Be Brave” campaign aimed at encouraging young entrepreneurs and startups to improve their business, as well as to motivate all those who have a business idea to realize it and turn it into a good business.
The initiative implies that young people from Serbia, who are up to 35 years old, present their business plan with an explanation of what prompted them to start their own business, what are their goals, future plans and strategies.
All those interested can send their ideas by November 30 to the address buditeodvazni@gmail.com.
At the beginning of December, the best ideas will be chosen:
- One entrepreneur who is just starting a business;
- One startup that has been in business for less than two years.
They will receive mentoring and advisory support, free online sales space, banners on the Jolly Woman website, as well as support for creating the website.
This campaign was joined by the lonac.pro community, which will also provide help and support to young people in entrepreneurship.
In just a few months since the founding of the Department for Young Entrepreneurs, we have been joined by a large number of members and every day there are more and more of them. We are focused on supporting and encouraging young people to start their own business after completing formal education. In this way, new jobs are created, young people stay in their country, which is the common goal of all of us. – Branislava Simanić, director of the Entrepreneurship Department of Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, pointed out and invited young people to join the initiative “Be brave” and present their ideas and business plans.
This is the first in a series of initiatives of the Department for Young Entrepreneurs of Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, and in the next period, the Youth Summit of Serbia is planned, as well as a large number of other activities that will support young people in their intention to engage in entrepreneurship.
Support for young people is extremely important, I am sure of that because I have been an entrepreneur myself since I was 19, for almost a decade. It is my pleasure that together we will have the opportunity to work on the economic empowerment of young people, education, networking of entrepreneurs in Serbia and the region, as well as to encourage them to develop their businesses. – said Jovana Šipčić, President of the Department and owner of the Jolly Woman brand.
