“Zarac has a market share, it has its customers who love it. What we have to do now, and what we realized, is to buy as much equipment as possible for the women who are most active, so that they do not produce cheese in their kitchen, but in their mini dairies“, points out the mayor of Lopare Rado Savić.
The women from Majevica also presented zarac cheese at numerous fairs, and everyone who tried it wanted to buy it. Numerous Majevica diaspora, when returning from their homeland, buy zarac, a cheese that reminds them of their childhood and homeland, RTRS reports.
