New and creative ideas are changing the world and preserving our planet. One such idea will be realized by the Public Institution Center “Los Rosales” in cooperation with the company Vuprom d.o.o Čitluk, which is engaged in the production of cotton and industrial cloths from old textile.
About 50% of the textile we throw away are recyclable, and about 20% of recycled textile can be used to make new fabric.
“Discarded clothing burdens the environment, so we need to act reasonably in its disposal. It’s spring, it’s time to clean the closet, clean the house, separate everything that is worn out or just doesn’t fit us anymore, and we don’t even know what to do with it. We have a useful solution. Do not throw textile in the trash and further pollute an already over-polluted planet. Pack your textile, clothes, bedding, sheets, towels, rags and be part of this wonderful story with us, important for all of us, our nature, water, air, environment,” the Los Rosales Center invites.
Textile can be delivered to the Los Rosales Center from May 7 to 18. Please do not bring shoes, blankets, mattresses and other bulky waste, everything else is welcome.
