The Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo invites civil society organizations (CSOs)/non-governmental organizations (NGOs) based and/or operating in the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo (hereinafter: the Municipality) to submit a project implementation proposal for the following priority areas of activity:
- Health promotion and improvement of the quality of life of the elderly;
- Improving the social inclusion of the elderly in the community and society.
Funds for the approved project implementation proposal will amount to 50,000.00 BAM. The Municipality reserves the right to cancel the Public call in case the project implementation proposals do not meet the set criteria, as well as the right to change the amount of approved funds in accordance with the budget of the Municipality. The duration of the project is 12 months. The selected project should be implemented within 12 months with the possibility of extension to a maximum of 12 months, under the same conditions.
LOCATION:
The project will be implemented in the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, in facilities intended for the Center for Healthy Aging at the locations Alipašino polje and Dobrinja.
ELIGIBILITY:
Participation in this Public call is open to all formally registered CSOs/NGOs (associations, foundations) operating in the Municipality, in accordance with the applicable legislation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. All interested civil society organizations can find detailed information on the conditions for application and criteria for financing the implementation of the project in the Guidelines for Applicants for the implementation of the project within the Public call.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS:
The completed application with documentation must be submitted in two /2/ copies in printed form and one in electronic copy (CD or USB) in a sealed envelope, titled “Za Javni poziv za realizaciju projekta Mreže centara za zdravo starenje Općine Novi Grad Sarajevo”, by registered mail or on the protocol of the Municipality from Monday to Friday, to the following address:

The deadline for submission of applications is ten (10) days from the date of publication of the Public call. Applications submitted after this deadline will only be considered if the postmark indicates that the date of sending is before the official deadline.
The Municipality will keep records and issue a proof on the received applications. All applicants who have submitted proposals, which have been accepted or rejected, will be notified in writing on the decision regarding their project proposal. The received proposals will be considered and evaluated by the Evaluation Commission, appointed by the mayor. The results will be published on the website of the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, as well as on the bulletin board of the Municipality.
