The Youth Journalists Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina ( ONAuBiH ) is proud to announce a public call for applications for the “ONAuBiH Youth Media Excellence Award” . The call is open to all young individuals and groups aged 15 to 30 from Bosnia and Herzegovina who are actively involved in the media, journalism or media literacy.
Topics:
- Best Youth Journalism Story : Award for excellence in creating informative, educational or inspiring media content.
- Innovative Approach to Media Literacy : Award for projects or activities that promote critical thinking and responsible use of media.
- Digital Activism : Recognition for the use of digital platforms to promote social change and inform the community.
Right to participate:
- Young people aged 15 to 30,
- Individuals, individuals or teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Evaluation criteria:
- Originality and innovation of the work,
- Topic relevance,
- The impact of the work on the community and the audience,
- Quality of presentation and content.
Application process:
- Submit the work you want to nominate (the work should be in one of the multimedia formats – podcast, essay, article, meme, video, photo, or any other format that suits you),
- Applications should be sent to the email address: andjela.borovcanin-knezevic@onaubih.ba by 25. 12. 2024 at 23.59h.
Prize:
- Recognition and plaque from ONAuBiH for media excellence,
- Opportunity to publish work on ONAuBiH platforms,
- An opportunity to publish on the youth magazine karike.ba,
- A cash prize in the amount of 750 KM .
Announcement of the winner
Winners will be notified by email by January 10, 2025. Results will also be published on our ONAuBiH website and ONAuBiH social media .
