Program of Una regatta

Every year, usually at the end of July, the Una regatta is held, which gathers a large number of not only locals, but also guests from all over the world who have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of this climate and the charms of the Una River and its National Park.

The Una regatta is an international traditional touristic-sports-cultural manifestation, full of adrenaline, joy and good mood of all participants, and at the same time the central event of tourism promotion of the potential of Una and other natural beauties.

This year, the program of the 48th International Tourist Una Regatta begins on July 27 with the gathering of participants in Martin Brod in the Lucica picnic area, where a ceremonial opening will be held with an entertainment program for all participants. For this day, the participants provide their own food, and the organizers will take care of breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next three days, as long as the sailing on the river Una lasts.

On the second day, July 28, the regatta starts in the morning towards Strbacki buk. A stop at Kulen Vakuf is planned for a break and rest, refreshments and lunch. From Kulen Vakuf, the regatta continues its journey towards the unique pearl of nature and the most attractive location within the Una Strbacki Buk National Park, where a camp and an entertainment program are organized until late into the night.

On the third day of the Una regatta, on July 29, morning participants leave for Bihać. In this stage, the next break is in Ripc with refreshments and lunch, after which sailing continues. The camp in Bihac is planned on the Gradska otoka, and in the evening at the same place, the spectacle of this year’s event awaits us, a concert in honor of Aki Rahimovski, as well as a concert by the legendary band Vanna. In addition to the musical part, traditional jumps from the City Bridge as well as a Blobbing competition, i.e., jumping from an air cushion, with valuable prizes are also planned.

On the last day of the regatta, on July 30, the boat leaves Bihac for Bosanska Krupa, where the closing ceremony of the 48th International Una Regatta will be held on the Town Square with an entertainment program for all participants and guests of a city on Una.

– Don’t forget sun cream and a bathing suit, also spare clothes and shoes. We also checked the weather forecast, and we expect sunshine, but you never know with nature. We cannot predict everything and ensure everything, so a raincoat is a must. What is important is that the stamp on such events is not washed away by rain and bad weather, bright weather is made by bright people.

The fighting spirit and excellent mood cannot be described in words, so come and see for yourself, because “Meet people with the sun from the inside” is not just a slogan, it is an experience that you get here and does not leave us for a long, long time… – said the organizers.

Hint:

– Sunscreen and lip balm

– Sunglasses with laces

– Swimsuit

– T-shirt

– Old tennis shoes and spare clothes and shoes (because all these will get wet)
