The City of Banja Luka and the company Tamaris d.o.o. participated in a large environmental, digital action “Your CO2”, in which you will be able to plant a tree or tree line in Banja Luka and follow your tree through a digital platform.
– The action has started, and it is possible to donate a tree through the digital platform with just a few clicks, which will be planted on public green areas of our city – the Department of Communal Affairs states, adding that the selected seedling will be planted in one of Banja Luka’s tree lines park or block greenery.
As they said, planting, transportation, protection of young seedlings and one-season maintenance and care are included in the price of the tree that Tamaris offers you through the UNDP platform.
By the way, UNDP is the initiator of the first BiH digital platform “Your CO2”, which is intended for all environmentally conscious citizens who want to contribute to making their public green areas green in Banja Luka.
The platform offers the possibility to calculate personal and corporate CO2 emissions, but also online purchase of tree seedlings for planned green areas in urban areas or revitalization of burned areas, and it can be accessed via the website www.tvojco2.ba.
