Description of the opportunity

You already know about the Mozaik Foundation and our internships in lonac? How well do you know our program “Legal Framework for Philanthropy“? See previous posts about this program in lonac or find useful information on the website. Don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be clear to you right away, you can learn a lot by working with Adnana and Aida during this internship.

The internship will be interesting and useful for you, and you will be a great help to this small team, if you meet these criteria:

Who can apply?

You can apply if you are 18-35 years old, come from Bosnia and Herzegovina, want to improve your skills and gain valuable work experience. If you are interested in what it is like to work in this small team for a minimum one and a maximum three months, apply.

What are the working hours like?

We expect you to work 6 hours a day remotely (from home). If you are currently living in Sarajevo, you can sometimes work from our office (Splitska 14) or Startup Studio (Titova 54), if that suits you better. The preferred working hours are 9-15, but we understand that you have private obligations (exams, etc.). You will agree with your superiors on planning and executing all responsibilities.

What is expected from this position?

Work on various activities related to documentation and reporting, such as:

  • Working on a central database, editing lists, creating a functional database that can be filtered and searched by indicators;
  • Keeping accurate lists of participants in each event;
  • Keeping minutes of all meetings and events (in local and English language);
  • Analytical processing of evaluation questionnaires in the form of reports, as well as media activities for the report;
  • Scheduling meetings, communication with stakeholders and project partners, participation in event organization, assistance and support in developing advocacy and lobbying strategies.

What skills will I be able to acquire or improve in this position?

You will not be able to perform these tasks if you do not already have some experience in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word and Excel. Also, knowledge of Google Forms, business correspondence in local and English language, as well as excellent knowledge of English is important.

Responsibility, communication, efficiency, ability to adapt to change, teamwork, focus on detail and precision, analytical skills are skills that you will further develop, and which would already be good to possess. You will get an additional advantage if you have experience in administration.

Note: After a three-month internship, there is a possibility of employment and continuation of work engagement on the program.
