WSA Univation is an interdisciplinary digital entrepreneurship program, as a special segment within the World Summit Awards initiative , aimed at students and university projects that use digital technology to solve social challenges. The goal of this program is to provide a platform for young innovators to present their ideas and develop projects that have a positive impact on the community and society as a whole.
Key features of the WSA Univation program include:
1. Support for students and university projects – The program encourages students to develop digital solutions that contribute to social and global goals, especially in the context of sustainable development.
2. Network of experts and mentors – Program participants have the opportunity to collaborate with experts from various fields, including business, technology, and social development, and receive mentorship that will help them advance their projects.
3. Global recognition – Winners of the Univation program get the opportunity to be recognized on a global level through participation in the WSA Global Congress , where they can present their projects to an international audience, including potential investors and partners.
4. Networking and collaboration – The program offers the opportunity to connect with young innovators from all over the world, which contributes to the spread of ideas and joint solving of global challenges.
The Univation program is designed to inspire new generations to use technology in a creative and responsible way, with a focus on social benefit and sustainable development.
This year, we are choosing two female students who will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina on the mentioned program.
The program is implemented in two phases:
an online phase with a series of webinars, discussions and workshops by renowned university professors and experts, and
an onsite phase consisting of an analysis of existing solutions within the framework of the European Festival of Young Innovators to be held in Graz, Austria .

Application deadline: October 20, 2024 (until 4 p.m.) .

Note:
By signing up for the WSA Univation program, you commit to attend all online webinars and the European Youth Festival in Graz, Austria . Registration fees for participation in the program for both phases, travel expenses to Graz and back, accommodation and food in Graz are covered by the Association of Citizens “Laboratorium” through the project “IT Girls come to your schools” financed by UNICEF BiH .
