Invitation to young people aged 18 to 35
Caritas Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with Caritas of the Banja Luka Diocese and Caritas of the Mostar-Duvno and Trebinje-Mrkan Diocese, invites young people aged 18 to 35 to participate in a tender for financing the start-up of a private business or social enterprise within of the YourJob program.
About the program
Caritas Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with Caritas Austria, with the financial support of the Austrian Development Agency, Secours Catholique, the Medicor Foundation and Renovabis, implements a regional program for increasing youth employability called YourJob – “Youth Overcoming Unemployment Regionally through Job Opportunities on the Balkans “. The goal of the YourJob program is to give young people the opportunity to develop skills, abilities and careers through access to professional orientation, enabling first work experience, and through opportunities to start their own business.
The goal of the competition : Encourage entrepreneurship and self-employment of young people from Herzegovina, from Mostar, Čapljina, Široki Brije, Posušje, Tomislavgrad, Ljubuški, Grud, Čitluk and Stolac through financing the costs of starting and developing their own business.
Conditions of participation:
All young unemployed persons aged 18 to 35 from Mostar, Čapljina, Široki Brije, Posušje, Tomislavgrad, Ljubuški, Grud, Čitluk and Stolac have the right to participate.
Financial support (grant) for starting your own business or social enterprise is up to 10,000.00 KM.
All selected candidates are required to participate in training for creating and writing a business plan – bootcamp.
The application deadline is April 15, 2024.
How to apply for participation:
Interested persons can download the application form for the competition at the youth employment counseling center in Mostar and Čapljina.
Along with the completed application form , a resume (CV in Europass format) and a motivation letter with a brief explanation of the business idea (maximum 2 pages) must be submitted .

During the call, two information sessions will be held on March 26, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Čapljina and on April 3, 2024, from 10 a.m. to noon in Mostar, where all the details of the competition will be explained.
