Women for Women International is an organization that has been operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina for 30 years, providing direct support to the economic, social and political empowerment of women.
In December 2023, together with Gracija Magazine and the National Theater Sarajevo, we participated in a humanitarian action for the women of Palestine and on that occasion collected 58,000 KM.
This monetary donation was sent to our partner organization for children and women “WEFAQ” located in Rafah in southern Gaza. Part of the money was used for a public kitchen where refugees, women, children and others who seek shelter due to the destruction of buildings and the expulsion of the population, are fed. The rest of the money is used for the purchase of clothes and hygiene products, blankets for accommodation and other necessary necessities.
We hereby invite you to support the campaign by making a direct donation and/or by sharing information about the campaign:
Women for Women International continues to help women and children in Palestine, therefore, on the occasion of celebrating March 8 – International Women’s Day , together with the Network of Women’s Associations for Rural Development, we decided to launch a campaign to collect financial aid for women and children in Palestine under the name:
