In the structure of overnight stays by foreign tourists in March, the most overnight stays were achieved by tourists from Croatia (25.3 percent), Serbia (16.8 percent), Slovenia (10.1 percent), Turkey (5.6 percent), Italy (3.7 percent ), Montenegro (3.6 percent) and Germany (3.4 percent), which is a total of 68.5 percent, and tourists from other countries made up 31.5 percent of overnight stays, according to the data of the BiH Statistics Agency.
The net occupancy rate of rooms in March was 25.3 percent, and of permanent beds 17 percent, while in March of last year, the occupancy rate of rooms was 24.2 percent, and of permanent beds 10.5 percent.
Regarding the length of stay of foreign tourists in our country, in first place are tourists from Qatar with 9.6 nights, Malta with 5.7 nights, Iceland with 5.5 nights, Saudi Arabia with 4.5 nights, and New Zealand and of Latvia with 4.2 nights each, on average.
