Federal Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Edin Ramić visited the Cathedral Church in Sarajevo and discussed with priest Nemanja Đureinović the needs of the Serbian returnee community in Sarajevo.
The Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees supported the activities of the Serbian Orthodox Church on the restoration, conservation and restoration of the iconostasis and furniture in the interior of the Cathedral.
On this occasion, Minister Ramić was presented with a certificate of thanks for his support so far in the work, operation and restoration of the Cathedral. Jerej Nemanja informed Minister Ramić about other needs and projects that the Ministry will support.
– The support we provided during the past years was continuous and we were happy to support projects that improved the religious infrastructure in the entire territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We will continue to work on this and our support will be even more significant. The needs of every returnee in any place are similar. That is why we are happy to leave behind completed and functional projects that will serve the generations to come – said Minister Ramić
Jerej Đureinović thanked Minister Ramić for his support so far and the announced projects that will improve the quality of the infrastructure, which is owned by the Serbian Orthodox Church, the Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees announced.
