Professional associate in the Department for Organizational Development
Job description
Management, coordination and supervision of activities aimed at building the organizational capacity of the Institute’s partners (non-governmental organizations and associations, beneficiaries of the Institute’s grants and other partners) through training, mentoring and consulting in the field of organizational development. Providing mentoring support in the assessment and self-assessment of their organizational capacities and performance, advising partners in the process of creating and implementing strategies and operational plans for building and upgrading organizational capacities and performance, monitoring and measuring success in building capacity and performance, creating recommendations for improvement and cooperation with to team members who carry out activities aimed at developing the sustainability of partner organizations. Improvement of the Institute’s existing tools and methodologies for assessment, development and monitoring of organizational capacities and performance.
Type of contractual relationship
Full-time employment under an employment contract. Start of employment in November/December 2024.
Eliminating (mandatory) criteria
– category B driver’s license and an active driver with experience,
– excellent knowledge of the English language,
– computer skills (MS Office, Internet),
– citizenship of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Position-specific criteria
- experience in the same or similar jobs for at least 3 years,
- experience in mentoring, with special emphasis on organizational development,
- experience in grant management will be considered an advantage,
- experience in document development and analysis,
- excellent knowledge of legal legislation and good practices of the work of non-governmental organizations.
Additional criteria
It is desirable that the candidates have developed communication skills, that they are inclined to work in a team, that they are independent in performing their work and that they have no problems with occasional trips and flexible working hours. The tendency to use different software solutions that facilitate and speed up work processes is considered mandatory considering that all processes are digitized through various online and desktop applications. It is desirable that candidates have analytical skills, and that they are dedicated and able to perform work tasks independently.
We especially encourage candidates who have experience working in non-governmental organizations in jobs relevant to the position they are applying for, not excluding other relevant work experience.

Selected candidates will be invited to the test, and if they meet the test criteria, to an interview.
The testing will take place on November 18 in the premises of the Institute for Youth Development KULT (Centralni ured Sarajevo, St. 4. viteške brigade 34-36, Ilidža). The test assesses knowledge in the field of the position for which the candidate is applying, as well as knowledge of the English language. The interview will take place between November 19 and 22, 2024. in the Central Office Sarajevo. Candidates who are not shortlisted or with whom the Institute does not intend to enter into the negotiation process will not be contacted.
