MAGLAJ, March 16 – The regional board of “Merhamet” Maglaj received a valuable donation from the company “JAMI” from Tešanj. This socially responsible company and a permanent donor of “Merhamet” donated more than 860 kilograms of its products to “Merhamet’s” soup kitchen in Maglaj.
This donation followed after the Maglaj Municipal Council, at the suggestion of the mayor Mirsad Mahmutagić, reduced the funds from the budget for the operation of “Merhamet’s” soup kitchen from 40,000 to 20,000 BAM.
– We would like to express our gratitude to “JAMI” for this valuable donation and urgent reaction after finding out that the Regional Board of “Merhamet” Maglaj received reduced funds from the municipal budget for the Soup Kitchen. We really need this help having in mind the new circumstances – said the director of the Regional Board of “Merhamet” Maglaj Sanela Omerović.
