WHY “MJESEČNO S VAMA”?
Through the work of many volunteers, we have become aware that there are many women (mostly single mothers) who barely provide food for their children and who cannot afford sanitary pads for themselves or their daughters. Teams of volunteers who are in daily contact with these women testify that sanitary pads are one of the basic things they lack.
That is why a little more than two years ago, a volunteer humanitarian initiative “Mjesečno s vama/Monthly with you” was launched, which aims to collect and distribute packages of sanitary pads for women and younger girls in need, to ease their worries and enable them a more dignified life.
HOW DOES THE INITIATIVE WORK?
The initiative is led and implemented exclusively by volunteers, with the help of donations from individuals and other organizations. Volunteers bring all gifts directly to women beneficiaries of the initiative.
