Today, the Mayor of Konjic Osman Ćatić and the President of the Association of Parents and Children with Cerebral Palsy and Other Developmental Disabilities “I” Konjic Amir Nuhić signed an agreement on donation of a van by the Municipality to the Association. It is a vehicle that was owned by the Municipality of Konjic, which was donated to the Association by the Decision of the Municipal Council of Konjic in order to more easily organize and implement their activities.
– The Municipality of Konjic has recognized the positive work and activities of the Association “I”, we think that the vehicle went to the right place and will be used for the benefit of all members” – said Edin Mujak, Assistant Mayor for Veterans, refugees and displaced persons and social protection, emphasizing that the Municipality of Konjic will continue to provide help to this population.
– “We would like to express our gratitude to the Mayor of Konjic Osman Ćatić and the Municipal Council of Konjic for understanding the needs of the Association. A passenger van has a great value to all of us in our daily activities. With the existing vehicle we have, it will be significantly easier to transport our children to the Day Center and back, and organize our regular trips” – said Amir Nuhić, President of the Association of Parents and Children with Cerebral Palsy and Other Developmental Disabilities “I” Konjic, who reminded that the Municipality of Konjic regularly helps their work through funds from the Budget.
Association “I”, which has 80 members, gathers parents and families of 25 children with disabilities from the area of Konjic municipality.
