FC Velež together with its fans helps sick citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina

(Sarajevo, January 26, 2022) FC Velež and its loyal fans joined the noble story “United Athletes in the Humanitarian Mission” of the Pomozi.ba Association.

When you are convinced countless times in the sentence that helping ennobles the soul and when you meet a huge number of good people on your way, who are ready to help others, then you know that they are good people.

Selfless, full of love, empathy, feelings for other people, who may not have been lucky in their lives, so they have reached poverty, have a disease…

On our life path, which we have planned, helping others, we have met hundreds of people, who do not ask for their name at all, but in what way they can help.

There are many athletes and sports teams among such people, and since September last year, we have been trying to connect them all into one humane story and we are slowly succeeding.

Edin Džeko, Mirza Teletović, BC Bosna Royal, OKK SPARS, FC Stupčanica, GFC Sarajevo, FC Željezničar, Junior Cup Champion, Balkan Soccer Camp, Ibrahim Šehić and many others are already part of our story “United Athletes in Humanitarian Mission”, and now we have another partner, the Velež Football Club, with an army of fans who love red color.

When we offered them cooperation, do you know what response we have received from Mostar? “We are in this together! Count on us.”

They did not hesitate for a second, but put all their resources at their disposal and started this humanitarian story, because “providing support and assistance to the weak and vulnerable is one of the ideas on which the Velež Mostar Football Club was founded a century ago.”

Throughout their history, they have remained faithful to this mission and that is why they were happy to inform their fans that they have officially cooperated with the Association Pomozi.ba through the humanitarian fund “Athletes for Life”.
