Today, the Institute for Youth Development KULT hosted representatives of the Local Democracy Agency (LDA) Mostar. This visit was a perfect example of how sharing experiences and support can help in the further development and empowerment of non-governmental organizations.
The visit to the Institute enabled the representatives of LDA Mostar to become familiar with the various rules and procedures implemented by the Institute, to see what it looks like in practice so that they could apply it in the work of their organization in the future.
Dženana Dedić, Director of LDA Mostar, stated: “Today we received a lot of information and content that we can use because we are currently in the process of organizational growth and capacity building and reorienting the organization from the project to the program level. The Institute has gone through all of this so far in its development and we are glad that it shares good examples and potential risks with us. As an organization, we have the capacity and experience and I think that the knowledge we acquire can be transferred to smaller organizations. That is why this visit was very useful to us, and especially all those individual sessions because we received concrete examples of how the Institute works and some of it we can apply in our organization.”
“We are amazed at how much the Institute learns from the challenges it faces and how innovatively it turns those challenges into its own advantages, and it is very inspiring to see it all come together like this. We are an organization that wants to go in that direction ,” added Jelena Krešić, the organization’s PR.
This visit is part of the Institute’s Job Shadowing program , which focuses on knowledge transfer and providing practical advice crucial for strengthening organizational capacities. The program is based on mentoring, advisory support and human resource empowerment, and promotes the importance of networking and creating new partnerships.
Through this program, the Institute seeks to help organizations improve their efficiency and achieve a stronger impact in society, thereby directly contributing to the strengthening of the civil sector.
Representatives of organizations often emphasize how useful their time spent at the Institute was, because meetings and learning through practical examples help in the further development of their organizations.
Through Job shadowing, employees and key team members have the opportunity to learn new skills and experiences that directly contribute to their professional growth.
The Institute for Youth Development KULT would like to thank today’s guests from LDA Mostar for their visit and time spent together.
We look forward to future visits and new opportunities for further development of the civil sector. We believe that only by working together can we achieve important and sustainable changes in society.
