Ecofeminist Solidarity Interventions: Challenges and Opportunities in Bosnia and Herzegovina

What are the challenges and opportunities available to us today in the field of care for society and social care from an ecofeminist perspective in Bosnia and Herzegovina?

The aim of the workshop is to bring together a group of participants who are active in the field of care for society and environmental justice, as well as those who are interested in considering, designing and implementing ecofeminist solidarity interventions in Bosnia and Herzegovina today.

The introductory part will outline the key assumptions of an ecofeminist approach to social development that responds in a transformative way to the political and economic crisis around us that destroys social and natural assets around us, and produces various forms of vulnerability that must be addressed through a comprehensive care for society. Some of the youth eco-initiatives in Tuzla will also be presented. During the main part of the workshop, interested participants will present and map their actions, attitudes and capacities, and design key opportunities and necessary steps for collaborative and ecofeminist solidarity interventions in both local and wider national and regional contexts.
