The Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts has announced a public call for the selection of beneficiaries of current transfer grant funds for the project “Strengthening the competitiveness of SMEs” for 2021.
The subject of the public call is the collection of applications for the selection of beneficiaries of incentive grant funds for the implementation of their projects in order to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs.
As stated in the call, the total amount of funds for financing the grant scheme is 2,400,000.00 BAM.
The maximum amount of funds for one of the priority areas is:
– Priority area 1: Maximum amount up to 30,000 BAM for investments in fixed assets.
– Priority area 2: Maximum amount up to 5,000 BAM for improving market access and product promotion on the market.
In accordance with the prescribed conditions from item 1.2, one applicant can submit a maximum of 1 project proposal in the amount of up to 35,000 BAM.
“For example, in one project proposal, an SME can apply for the purchase of new equipment in the amount of up to 30,000 BAM, and the promotion of products on the market in the amount of up to 5,000 BAM, or a total of up to 35,000 BAM,” the Ministry explained.
Small business entities defined by the Law on Small Business Encouragement and Development of the Federation of BiH and the Law on Crafts and Related Activities based in the Federation of BiH, registered no later than December 31, 2019 are eligible to apply.
Businesspersons from “Area C – Manufacturing” Classification of Activities of Bosnia and Herzegovina 2010 – KD BiH) can apply, excluding activity codes for the production of weapons, weaving of textiles, tobacco products, cellulose, paper, cement and some other activities that are listed in the call.
Applications must be submitted by April 20, 2021.
