Foundation “INFOHOUSE” Sarajevo in partnership with UG “Budućnost” Modriča is implementing the project “Economic and social opportunities for independence of women, victims of domestic violence” which is financially supported by the European Union.
The overall goal of the project is to contribute to the elimination of violence and discrimination against women victims of violence, as one of the most vulnerable groups by promoting their economic and social rights.
One of the project activities is an educational capacity building program that will be implemented through a training cycle entitled “Business to Independence: Writing a business idea application“, which is intended for former and current victims of domestic violence, women users of civil society organizations’ services which run safe houses.
The first training cycle will include:
Module I- Building self-confidence and creating a business idea
Module II- Key Business Processes and Skills
The second training cycle will include:
Module III- Starting a business
Module IV-Market Development and Growth
The training cycles will be realized in the form of two-day trainings in each city where a safe house has been established (Modriča, Bijeljina, Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Zenica, Tuzla, Bihać and Mostar).
All participants[1] in the training will have the opportunity to apply for a public call for grants to start their own business, which will be awarded in 2022.
The total number of participants in the training cycle is 60.
