The Center for the Promotion of Civil Society (CPCD) and the Diaspora for the Development of Bosnia and Herzegovina (i-diaspora) within the online chats cycle 1000 why, how, and about the civil society sector in 2021 invite you to the fourth online chat Perspectives of peace activism in times of crisis: helplessness or the only hope for a better tomorrow.

The fourth online chat is on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in the period 19:00 – 20:30 hrs., and the guests are dr. Sunčana Laketa, senior researcher at the University of Neuchatel and Maida Zagorac, project coordinator at the Network for Building Peace, who will talk about peace activism in Bosnia and Herzegovina and European countries, policies, procedures and ways to protect activists through a guided conversation, but also questions from participants.

In addition to useful information that guests will share with us, we also bring many examples of activism and opportunities to network with those who advocate for peace, prosperity and security in the diaspora. The whole event is in the local language.

The cycle of online chats was created as a result of cooperation between two organizations of the same values ​​and attitudes, one from Bosnia and Herzegovina and one from Switzerland.

The first chat was held in February, the second in April, the third in June and by the end of the year we plan to hold 2 more thematic online chats with organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the diaspora to talk about opportunities, needs and opportunities for cooperation in various fields from youth work to agriculture, politics or sports.

In other countries in Europe and the world, Bosnians and Herzegovinians are successful in various fields from economy, science, education, culture, public services to arts, sports and politics. This potential can contribute to the development of Bosnia and Herzegovina, organizations or individuals. If you want to join the support network, please let us know.
