Invitation to the conference
From a strong local community to sustainable peace

Within the five-year Local Works Program, supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Network for Building Peace Association in cooperation with the Center for Peacebuilding Sanski Most is organizing a conference and training titled “From a strong local community to sustainable peace”. The event will be held in the period June 2 – 3, 2022 (Thursday and Friday), in Sanski Most.
Do you start initiatives in your local community, are you involved in peace activism, do you want to network with other organizations, activists, or you have ideas and you are looking for partners to jointly implement those ideas, are you looking for new motivation and inspirational stories, do you want to strengthen your peacebuilding capacities or just want to meet and share experiences and knowledge with colleagues?
If the answer to any of the previous questions is yes, then this is the event for you. During the “From a strong local community to sustainable peace” event you will have the opportunity to find out how Local Work Program’s partner organizations: Institute for Youth Development KULT, Mozaik Foundation, Tuzla Community Foundation, Center for Civic Cooperation Livno and Network for Building Peace contribute to peacebuilding in local communities. On the second day of the event, participants will have the opportunity to discover the magic of the Garden of Opportunities and participate in a peacebuilding training, which will be led by the Center for Peacebuilding from Sanski Most.

The Association Network for Building Peace will cover all the costs of the event.
