Bosnia and Herzegovina: HPV vaccines available in all nine locations of the “Health Center” of Sarajevo Canton

Vaccination is recommended before exposure to HPV infection, and before sexual activity, and the goal is to provide the opportunity to protect the health of young people who have not been vaccinated so far.

The Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton informs that HPV vaccines are available in all nine localities of the “Dom zdravlja” JU “Dom zdravlja” KS, reports Anadolu.

Vaccination takes place on weekdays from 8 am to 2:30 pm.

“In conditions where a doctor works in the school dispensary on the second shift, exceptions can be made and appointments can be made after 2 p.m. for parents who cannot come during the specified time of the first shift,” the Ministry stated.

They remind that vaccination is free for girls from the 6th grade of primary school up to 26 years of age (ages 11 to 26) and for boys in the 8th grade of primary school.
