The Biom Association from Croatia invites all interested parties to participate in bird identification training on the Neretva River. The training will take place on May 4 and 5 and June 1 and 2, 2024 in the area of the Neretva delta.
As part of the training, one introductory online lecture and two field educations will be held. Participants will have the opportunity to see and learn to recognize bird species that are common in their surroundings, and with a little luck, those rare species that are known for the lagoons at the mouth of the Neretva.
Techniques for recognizing bird species by appearance and voice will be taught in the field. The training is free and open to everyone, regardless of prior knowledge. Binoculars and books for bird identification will be provided for participants.
The introductory online lecture and introduction will take place on May 3 at 6 p.m. The pitches are scheduled for May 4 and 5 and June 1 and 2, 2024, but the dates are subject to change depending on the weather.
