Do not miss the opportunity to participate in the peacebuilding training for students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will be held in July 2021.
The program will actively deal with complex topics. Intensive communication between participants, exchange of opinions, mutual criticism, but also readiness for self-criticism, dialogue, and review of their own insights and attitudes is expected from all participants.
If you are motivated to participate in a seven-day program that requires willingness to actively participate in the work process – send your application! 💌
What will the training look like?
The training does not encompass classical lectures and listening to only one lecturer. You will learn through exchange and communication, there are no correct and incorrect answers, but a high level of activity, communication and exchange is required, as well as a willingness to listen and talk.
For all students from Bosnia and Herzegovina (including students from BiH who study outside BiH or those who have just enrolled in college this year), this training is an opportunity for them as part of the student population to recognize their responsibility for social action, through joint meeting and work on topics concerning the past and future of post-war society, mutual exchange of opinions and make their own reflection.
The training topics are:
- Dealing with the past,
- Interethnic violence,
- Peacebuilding,
- Reconciliation,
- National identities,
- Non-violent activism,
- Understanding conflict
- Non-violent conflict transformation…
The training team is composed of four trainers who deal with peace activism, and are in charge of preparing and conducting workshops.
Place and time of the program
The training will be held on Vlašić, where all participants will be provided with accommodation in single rooms, with breakfast, lunch and dinner, and two coffee breaks a day. The training will be held in compliance with epidemiological regulations regarding the distance and the number of people.
The costs of accommodation, food, the entire trip and the necessary materials for work are covered by the organizer. Additional logistical information will be provided by the organizers after the selection of applications.
All participants should arrive to Vlašić on July 22. The departure day is July 28.

- Keep in mind that training team will be guided by different criteria during the selection process – clear motivation, even geographical, gender, ethnic, age representation… Therefore, fill in your application carefully, and answer all questions.
Fill out and send this online questionnaire no later than July 11, 2021 until 23:59hrs.
