“Who says women don’t know how to park?” is the name of a new project implemented by the “GirlTHing”, branch of the Student Council of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Tuzla. Last year, the members of GirlTHing organized a visit to Vienna and visited “Bosch” company. During that visit, the students received PLS (Parking Lot Sensor) with which they will work throughout the entire project.
The potential of the project was recognized by the City of Tuzla, which finances its implementation, and in addition to installing parking sensors, a series of workshops will be organized. The main goal of the workshops is to empower, inspire and motivate young women to dedicate themselves to science, innovation and further motivate them to start their own businesses and projects. Workshops (Introduction to Andriod, Introduction to iOS, Web Platform Development), online webinars, seminars on entrepreneurship, are just some of the things covered by this project. A total of 20 young women, students of technical faculties of the University of Tuzla, will have the opportunity to study together for 4 months, develop the whole system and prove that women know and can do much more than parking a car.
If you also want to be part of the team of young women and make a step forward in your future, fill out our online application form, and maybe YOU will be part of our IT team.
