The City Administration of Prijedor, the Department for Traffic, Communal Affairs and Environmental Protection and Property and Housing Affairs plans to mark the first day of spring and the World Forest Day in a symbolic way this year.
The action “Clean Spring” came to life in 2021, in order to influence the environmental awareness of our fellow citizens. The action also marks the World Day of Forests. The action is one of the ways in which we try to raise the awareness of citizens, that they should not throw waste beyond the places provided for it and that they should protect the environment. The motto of the action is “Let’s clean our city in one day”. This action is also a prelude to the April action of spring decoration of the city.
On this occasion, we invite citizens to collect waste in their neighborhoods and parks, on picnic grounds and playgrounds, and to make their environment cleaner, more beautiful, more pleasant for everyday life, work and rest. We ask citizens to take the collected waste to the nearest containers. Participation in the action is voluntary.
If citizens want to participate and win appropriate prizes in the action, they need to send us two photos to the email address Contact e-mail
The first photo should be a view of the selected location before cleaning, and the second photo should be a view of the cleaned location. It is desirable that both photos show the condition before and after cleaning from the same position.
One person should send two selected photos to the mentioned address.
Send photos by March 23, 2023 at 12 noon.
