300 students from Banja Luka will attend free swimming training

During this year, 300 students from Banja Luka primary schools will have the opportunity to attend free swimming training within the project that will be implemented by the public company “Akvana” with the support of the City, the City Administration announced.

As confirmed by the Department of Education, Health, Youth and Sports, the City of Banja Luka signed a contract with “Akvana” in order to implement the project “Free swimming training for primary school students in 2021.”

“In order to implement previously mentioned contract, the City planned 30,000 BAM, so that 300 students will have the opportunity to attend free swimming training and learn to swim, which is immeasurable both for the local community and for parents whose satisfaction has been expressed through surveys in previous years,” representatives of the City administration announced.

Namely, as planned – “Akvana” will conduct a survey in primary schools, in accordance with the project, in order to determine the number of students and schools, will provide instructors and professional services for the implementation and realization of the project, as well as dates at the City Olympic Pool.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the project was not implemented in 2020.
