In the Baska of Opportunities, in the center for building peace as part of the YouthBank for Peace Summer Camp (July 25-28), participants from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina had the opportunity to socialize and host participants from Croatia. To learn together about building trust and peace.
This summer camp was an ideal opportunity for young people to get together and share experiences. Through various workshops and visits to significant historical sites, participants focused on building mutual trust and creating stronger bonds between communities. In an atmosphere of support and understanding, they jointly explored ways to contribute to social cohesion and peace in their communities.
The YouthBank for Peace project is implemented by the Mozaik Foundation, in cooperation with the Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR), with the financial support of the Robert Bosch Foundation. The aim of the project is to strengthen the stability, effectiveness and social impact of young people in the target communities. Also, cooperation between the youth of BiH and Croatia is encouraged to build trust, social cohesion and peace.
This was a useful, interesting and educational event that gave young people the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills that will help them in their further work to build peace and trust in their communities.
