Association of parents of children suffering from malignant diseases “Iskra” Banja Luka and Association “Srce for children suffering from cancer” from Sarajevo have been with the little heroes fighting their hardest battles for years.
These associations run Parents’ Houses in Banja Luka, Sarajevo and Tuzla, where they offer accommodation and support to sick children and their families. The company Mozzart supported them wholeheartedly, which launched the project “Parents’ Houses in Bosnia and Herzegovina” and sent the first donation to the Sarajevo address.

“The support of the community and socially responsible companies is extremely important to us. We are especially happy that the company Mozzart equally helps in the fields of sports, education, health… This monetary donation means help to our users, but also due to the fact that support from Mozart comes to us continuously and that they listen to the needs of our children. Thank you for that,” said Fikret Kubat, president of the Association “Heart for Children with Cancer” Sarajevo.
This association gathers more than 500 members, among whom are children suffering from various malignant diseases and their families. For two decades, they have been continuously supporting them through numerous large projects, such as the Parents’ House, My Hair – Your Hair, the organization of the “Golden Circle” humanitarian run as part of “Golden September” – the International Month of Childhood Cancer Awareness, and the psychosocial support program .

Eight years ago, they opened the first Parents’ House in BiH in Sarajevo for free continuous accommodation of children with cancer, who are being treated at the Hematology Department of the Pediatric Clinic Jezero KCUS, as well as their families. In addition to accommodation, families are provided free of charge with basic foodstuffs, hygiene supplies and psychosocial support, as well as everything else that is necessary and crucial for the easiest possible path to the child’s complete recovery.
The parents’ house in Betania is currently a roof over the heads of seven families, providing them with everything they need while their children are being treated in the hospital, but also for up to five years after leaving the accommodation.
The association “Heart for Children Resisting Cancer” conducts all activities together with medical workers who, they say, are their heroes. Along with the little heroes, there is also the socially responsible company Mozzart, which has supported them in the past, and will soon support the little ones housed in the Parents’ Homes in Tuzla and Banja Luka with donations.
