Resources are important, on the one hand, to show how much work has been done and is being done on issues of gender equality, and on the other hand, to serve research purposes in order to measure progress and achievements.
At the regular session of the Commission for Gender Equality of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the work of the University Gender Resource Center (UNIGeRC), which was established at the beginning of 2022 as part of the UNIGEM (Universities and Gender Mainstreaming) project led by the TPO Foundation with the support of the Government of Great Britain, was presented.
The commission was chaired by Alma Kratina, and the work of UNIGeRC was presented by v. prof. Ph.D. Zilka Spahić Šiljak and Lamija Subasic. Parliamentarians had the opportunity to find out what has been achieved in the previous two years, and how this center will connect academic and non-academic institutions and organizations dealing with issues of gender equality and collect resources on these issues. Resources are important, on the one hand, to show how much work has been done and is being done on issues of gender equality, and on the other hand, to serve research purposes in order to measure progress and achievements.
