The Association of Citizens and Citizens “Why not” is an organization that deals with the creation of a safe, active, efficient and responsible BiH. society through the promotion and establishment of mechanisms of political responsibility, the strengthening and building of civil activism and the use of new media and technologies.
Fellowship engagement will entail work on monitoring and research within one of the projects of the UG “Why not”. The project is primarily related to misinformation and the operation of large online platforms during the 2024 election campaign in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The candidate will perform the following tasks:
- Monitoring the election campaign on social networks and other online platforms
- Conducting desk research
- Assistance in writing analyses
- Assistance in content writing for Raskrinkavanje and Istinomer platforms
- Other related tasks as required

What qualifications and previous work experience are required?
- Students of journalism or related faculties; completed bachelor’s or master’s studies is an advantage
- Experience in related jobs is an advantage
- Knowledge of the English language
- Computer knowledge
- Adaptability to work in a team and the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of social and political circumstances and current events in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region
The selection process includes an online interview with selected candidates. All candidates shortlisted for an interview will be notified within seven days of the competition closing.
