An adrenaline park, including a zip line and a rock for climbing, was opened at the Tuzla excursion site Ilinčica on November 1, further enriching the tourist offer of the city of Tuzla.
As stated on the city’s website, the adrenaline park was organized as part of the EU project “New locations for outdoor recreation in order to improve the quality of the tourist product – Open Air Everywhere” which is jointly implemented by the City of Tuzla, the Development Association NERDA and the Tourist Board of the City of Tuzla. which is co-financed by means of the EU IPA II cross-border cooperation program between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The city of Tuzla will continue with a proactive approach towards attracting investments to the city of Tuzla.
– We have the largest number of applications for European Union funds, the largest number of approved projects on an annual level that we withdraw from European Union funds, and we will continue in that direction – said Mayor Zijad Lugavić.
He also announced future projects that will further improve and beautify this location.
– We are planning to build additional rest areas, as well as purchase an electric van that will allow easier access to Ilinčica. Also, we are working on the introduction of electric bicycles, both at this location and in the city center – Lugavić said.
The adrenaline park on Ilinčica represents a significant step in the development of tourism in Tuzla, providing unique opportunities for active rest and enjoying nature, the City Administration stated.
