The Environmental Protection Fund of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has made a decision on the selection of beneficiaries based on the conducted public tender for the allocation of funds for the implementation of programs, projects and similar activities in the field of environmental protection.
The right to use the funds of the Environmental Protection Fund of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the basis of the conducted public call was exercised by 183 applicants, and the total amount of funds allocated by the Fund under this call is 10,508,571.00 BAM.
Programs/projects for the allocation of funds relate to the following program activities:
- WATSAN water supply and sanitation projects in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Other water protection projects important for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Projects and studies with the goal of meeting the objectives of the Strategy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of environmental protection
- Environmental projects of urban centers
- Projects on establishing a federal air quality monitoring network
- Nature protection projects
- Soil protection and remediation projects
- Environmental projects supporting the development of local communities
- Air protection projects
- Waste management projects
- Improving of energy use
- Implementation of measures and preventing the spread and destruction of the weed plant species ragweed
- Public awareness projects on the importance of environmental protection
