The Red Cross of the Canton of Sarajevo is organizing a campaign to collect sacrificial meat for the Central Kitchen, in which close to 1,000 meals are prepared for the citizens of the Canton of Sarajevo and distributed to 17 locations in the area of the Canton of Sarajevo, reports Anadolu.
During Eid, sacrifices can be delivered to the Central Kitchen in Braće Begić Street no. 11 (Koševsko brdo), the first day, June 16, Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and the second day – June 17, Monday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
“We kindly ask the citizens to take care of the health of animals during the procurement and religious ritual slaughter of animals on the eve of Kurban Bayram. We especially emphasize that our Central Kitchen will accept only sacrificial meat that has a document on the veterinary examination of the meat. The collected sacrificial meat will be used to prepare meals for the users of our kitchen,” announced the Sarajevo Canton Red Cross.
