The project “Our classroom – empowering women in business” begins in Tuzla

Today in Tuzla, as part of the project “Our classroom – empowering women in business,” the MI-BOSPO microcredit foundation organized an education for women called “Sales and relations with customers.”

This is the first of a series of educations that will be delivered to women in business, completely free of charge, continuously until the end of this year and during 2025. With this education, the mentioned project officially started today.

At the very beginning, the director of MKF MI-BOSPO, Safet Husić, addressed the audience, expressing his gratitude to the participants for their interest and emphasizing the importance of supporting women in entrepreneurship. He pointed out that with this project, MI-BOSPO wants to contribute to the empowerment of women in business through the development of new skills and self-confidence, which are the foundations for success in the business world.

“Our classroom – empowering women in business”

“Our classroom – empowering women in business” is implemented with the support of the European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE Fund), and represents an important goal of this organization to provide its clients, women in business, with concrete support when it comes to empowerment and support to develop their businesses. MI-BOSPO emphasizes that they see a great need when it comes to engagement in raising awareness of the importance of education and empowering women in business.

The project “Our classroom – empowerment of women entrepreneurs” consists of several components that have been carefully designed to respond to the real challenges and needs of female entrepreneurs in Bosnia and Herzegovina. One of the goals is to raise awareness of the importance and potential of female entrepreneurship in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as all the positive effects that the development of female entrepreneurship brings with it. Another important segment is precisely the delivery of non-financial services through the implementation of education for women entrepreneurs on topics that MI-BOSPO clients defined as a need. These are areas for improving knowledge and developing skills in the field of sales management and financial management, management, all with the aim of building leadership skills in women, for which education will be delivered by experts from these fields during 2025.

“Our classroom – empowering women in business”

“Our classroom – empowering women entrepreneurs” also includes the creation of an online platform that is the core of the project and is called the TREASURY or “TREASURY for women in business” – a space that lives up to its name. Treasury will provide women with a wide range of opportunities, including first of all free advertising of their services and products, then access to advisory services and support from experts in key areas of business management, networking with other entrepreneurs, access to business news and useful information, access to knowledge base and education. This platform is not only a tool, but also a real resource adapted to the specific needs of women in the business world.

“Our classroom – empowering women in business”

“We are proud that, in cooperation with the EFSE fund, we can offer innovation to our clients, because our goal is to empower women entrepreneurs through concrete and continuous support programs. At MI-BOSPO, we actively support women through our services and believe that women’s empowerment is key to the development of the local community and economy. The project ‘Our classroom – empowering women entrepreneurs’ is the right step in that direction, and the EFSE fund recognized the importance of this initiative and supported its implementation with pleasure”, concluded Safet Husić, director of MKF MI-BOSPO.
