The new school year is upon us. While some return to familiar school desks, for others this is the first step into the world of school duties. In order to make the start of the school year as pleasant as possible, the Bingo City Centers in Tuzla and Sarajevo, joined this year by Bingo shopping center Živinice, are continuing the “For a better school” activity.
As part of this project, primary schools in Tuzla, Sarajevo and Živinice have the opportunity to win a significant donation for the improvement of their school premises. This year, the total amount of prizes is 10,000 KM for Sarajevo, 10,000 KM for Tuzla, and 4,000 KM for Živinice.
Customers in the stores BCC Sarajevo and BCC Tuzla, and BTC Živinica can be part of this campaign and make their contribution by, in the period from August 21 to September 15, after making any purchase in the stores Bingo City Center Tuzla, Bingo City Center Sarajevo and BTC Živinica, save the receipt and insert it into the marked locker of the elementary school of your choice, which will be located in visible locations in the centers. Schools that collect the most bills will win cash prizes.
“Bingo City Centers continuously support local schools. This is already the fourth year of the project at Bingo City Center Tuzla and the third at Bingo City Center Sarajevo. We are especially pleased that we have extended this initiative to Živinice as well. Our centers are not only a place where you can find everything you need to start the new school year, but also a place where, thanks to initiatives like this, community is built and education is supported. Our goal is to make elementary schools happy and make it easier for them to start the school year, and we are convinced that the turnout will be great, as in previous years,” the Bingo centers said.
The winning schools last year were the Miladije elementary school in Tuzla, and the Osman Nakaš elementary school in Sarajevo, which used their awards to modernize classrooms, acquire new teaching aids, and equip school spaces.
With a total of 116 schools participating in this activity – Tuzla (27), Sarajevo (82) and Živinice (seven) – Bingo once again confirms its commitment to education and the community.
