Yesterday, a gas compressor station with a capacity of 40 million cubic meters of compressed natural gas was ceremoniously put into operation at the Brod Oil Refinery, and the total amount of the gasification project is 16.2 million euros.
The station was put into operation by the General Director of the Brod Oil Refinery Anatoliy Karaljus, and the ceremony was attended by Serbian member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik, Prime Minister Radovan Višković, Russian Ambassador to BiH Igor Kalabukhov, Head of the Serbian Representation in Moscow Igor Perović, members of the refinery and company “Zarubežnjeft”.
The operation of the station is enabled by the supply of natural gas through the gas pipeline that connects the Brod Refinery with the Croatian gas system.
The length of the gas pipeline is 5.5 kilometers, and compressed natural gas is delivered in bottles by mobile automotive gas storage and transportation systems.
The delivery of the new product will be done exclusively by specialized means of transport intended for the transport of compressed natural gas, which also use this gas as a propellant.
