The Environmental Protection Fund of the FBiH has announced a public call for the allocation of funds for the implementation of programs, projects and similar activities in the field of environmental protection for 2021, the total amount of which is 10,508,571 BAM.
The public call is divided into thirteen LOTs, so 2 million BAM has been allocated for co-financing of projects exclusively in the field of river source protection, treatment of municipal, technological, water, treatment of sludge from wastewater treatment plants, treatment of leachate from landfills, as well as the construction of communal infrastructure of protected areas.
Also, 1.5 million BAM is intended for co-financing of projects to increase energy efficiency in residential and non-residential buildings, in public services, and in industrial processes.
Slightly more than one million BAM have been allocated for waste management projects, while one million BAM each has been allocated for WATSAN water supply and sanitation projects in the FBiH and for environmental protection projects to support the development of local communities.
Local self-government units and public institutions, companies, etc. are eligible to apply for individual LOTs.
For each of the LOTs, the amounts of participation that applicants need to provide and state in the proposal are defined, as well as the maximum amount of funds that can be approved per application.
