The Public Library of Hecegovačko-Neretvanska County (HNŽ) has announced a competition for the best unpublished story for children in 2024.
The general conditions of the competition state that the story must be an author’s work, written in one of the official languages of BiH, the topic is free, the story must not have been published before, the text must not be longer than five typed pages, and citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina of legal age can participate.
The Committee for the Organization of the Children’s Book Festival of the National Library of HNŽ, based on the proposal of the expert judging committee, will award the prize “Tree in the middle of the world” (after the name of the literary work of Nikola Martić), which consists of a plaque, a sculpture and a monetary sum of 2,000 KM .
The competition is open until September 30.
