Bosnia and Herzegovina is known as a country of incredibly beautiful and wild nature, but also hidden pearls that it somehow manages to preserve from the public. One of them is Lake Kop, one of the cleanest lakes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also in the region.

Lake Kop is located near Tuzla, in Šićki Brod. It is 800 meters long, 400 meters wide and in the deepest part it is about 35 meters deep.

Its size is ideal for recreational and competitive fishing, especially since the lake is made of water from as many as seven springs, which makes this lake the cleanest of all lakes in Tuzla Canton.

The lake was formed in 1987 on the surface mine Šićki Brod, after which it got its name.

Lake Kop is not so well known to tourists, so it is still jealously guarded by locals and local fishermen.
