The Banja Luka City Development Agency has announced the start of the creation of a new coworking space in the city center. A space of 170 square meters in Jevrejska Street was leased to the City Development Agency by the City of Banja Luka, and will be transformed into a modern coworking center that will become the seat of innovation, business ideas and support for young entrepreneurs. The reason for creating such a space arose from the need to provide an adequate working environment, as well as the belief that this space can be a springboard for all businessmen and entrepreneurs.
– This project represents a key initiative to encourage entrepreneurship and strengthen the business community of our city. This coworking space will not only be a place to work, it will become a gathering center for the most innovative young people of Banja Luka who want to develop their ideas. I invite local companies to actively participate in this initiative and show their social responsibility – said the director of the City Development Agency, Neven Stanić.
The very beginning of designing the visual identity of the new coworking space was left to young experts in the field of architecture. The intention of the organizers was to unite all actors in the early stages of the project development in order to contribute to its realization. Special thanks go to Professor Miroslav Malinović, recognized professor of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, University of Banja Luka, whose expertise and dedication to the development of young talents is of key importance for the success of the project.
Malinović emphasized that the conceptual solution is the result of the work of a student in his department, with his mentorship. He added that the key features and design innovations enrich the space, and the visualization and plans show the potential of transforming this space into a modern coworking center.
This coworking space is an engine of economic development that will contribute to a better business climate and the creation of new business opportunities in the long term.
-Today we emphasize the importance of cooperation on projects such as the new coworking space. We will try to ensure that all aspects of our cooperation work flawlessly, connecting different participants and directing them towards a common goal – said Ana Lojić, coordinator of this project.
The Agency points out that in addition to the work space, the coworking center will be a place where experts from the Banja Luka City Development Agency will provide advice and support to young people and entrepreneurs.
– The vision of the City Development Agency of Banja Luka is to transfer knowledge and experience through this project, helping new generations to grow and develop in the world of business. The public will be informed in a timely manner about all stages of the renovation of the existing building and the opening time, so that entrepreneurs can start their business in the new, modern space – concluded the Agency.
