Liechtenstein, at the prestigious Gams-Werdenberg golf course, will host the European Men’s Team Shield Championship (Group 3). For the second time, the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will compete in this four-day team championship organized by the European Golf Association, of which the Golf Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a full member.
This year, the Golf Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina decided to give a chance to young players, with the aim of them paving the way for new generations to come. Bh. the team consists of:
– Tarik Đerzić (GK Krivaja)
– Robert Mandurić (GK Posušje)
– Dal Smajić (GK Sarajevo)
– Anur Selmanagić (GK Sarajevo)
The team is led by national team selector Haris Đerzić (GK Krivaja) and road leader Sanjin Radonja (GK Smreka).
The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will compete with teams from 11 countries: Turkey, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Albania, Serbia, Georgia, Cyprus, Andorra, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Malta.
The championship will last from July 31, 2024 to August 3, 2024, and will be played according to the following schedule:
Wednesday, July 31 – Stroke play, qualifying.
Thursday 1 August – Match Play Day 1
Friday 2nd August – Match Play Day 2
Saturday, August 3 – Match Play, Day 3.
