“This gathering is not only a celebration of Slovak culture – it is a bridge between our two countries. With days of Slovak culture, we somehow get closer to the citizens of all of Bosnia and Herzegovina, so we celebrate them except in Sarajevo and in Mostar, Foča, Višegrad, Cazin… We want to show how our cultures are similar, that is, that we have more in common and what connects us to Bosnia and Herzegovina. said Deputy Slovak Ambassador to BiH Patrik Turošik.

In addition to the rich cultural program, a tasting of Slovak wines was organized for local winemakers and officials, where you could taste the best of Slovakian vineyards.

Among the featured wines is Devín 2023, a white wine from the Vinkor winery, which was named the best white wine at the most prestigious Vinalies Internationales 2024 competition.

Other renowned wineries such as Hubert JE, Villa Víno Rača, Miroslav Dudo and Pereg were also presented.

This occasion is also an opportunity for a series of B2B meetings between Slovak and domestic companies, with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation between Slovakia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and opening new business opportunities.
