Taste Atlas published a list of the 100 best cuisines in the world: Where is Bosnia and Herzegovina located?

The popular gastronomic guide Taste Atlas recently published its annual list of the best cuisines in the world, and Bosnian and Herzegovina’s cuisine this year came in only 68th place.

The world’s top-rated cuisines ranked by the average ratings of each country’s top-rated dishes and food products.

This year, Greece is in first place, while Italy is in second place. Mexican cuisine is in third place, followed by Spanish and Portuguese cuisine. The worst-rated cuisines are from Albania, Bolivia, Nigeria, Laos and Nicaragua.

When it comes to countries from the region, Serbia ranked 15th, Croatia ranked 17th, Slovenia ranked 56th, and Montenegro ranked 83rd.

By the way, Bosnian and Herzegovina’s cuisine ranked 27th last year, with a score of 4.39. It is now in 68th place, with a score of 4.03. The best-rated dishes are: sarma, burek, sač, Livno cheese and Travnik ćevapi.

In Serbia, the best rated are Pazar mantije, Leskovac ajvar, Ariljska raspberry, lepinja set and Leskovac grill. The best dishes in Croatia are Slavonian kulen, Zagorje mlinci, Pag lamb, gradele and fuži. In Slovenia, these are Styrian Prekmurje pumpkin oil, Prekmurje gibanica, donuts, cream rezina (krempita), mushroom soup, while in Montenegro the top of the list are: Njeguška prosciutto, Pljevlja cheese, priganice, Njeguška cheese and šežnjići.
