Support to the Parents’ House in Tuzla – free transport for children with disabilities

For several years now, Telemach BH and the Telemach Foundation have been supporting the US Embassy in BiH in organizing the Independence Day. Due to the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, the US Embassy in BiH has launched an initiative that its long-term partners, instead of supporting the organization of a traditional birthday celebration, redirect funds for the celebration to local community development and support the work of charities in BiH.

Telemach Foundation, otherwise one of the few corporate foundations in BiH, is committed to its activities being a positive force in the lives of local communities’ members. Through our activities, we want to improve the lives of citizens whom Telemach BH serves as a leading provider of telecommunications services and media. We would like to congratulate the United States on its birthday and thank them for giving us the opportunity to support our partners and reach the hearts of children and adults who, at this and any other moment, know that they are not alone,” said Maja Tursunović, director of the Telemach Foundation.

Donations from the Telemach BH and Telemach Foundation will be redirected to the work of the Association “Srce za djecu”, which recently initiated the construction of the Parents’ House in Tuzla to accommodate families of children with malignant diseases from Tuzla Canton and to the Association “Zmajevo srce”. A few days ago, the Association “Zmajevo srce” from Tuzla launched a campaign to raise funds for the introduction of a free taxi service for children with severe disabilities.
