Earth Day was marked on April 22, and this year’s theme was Let’s Renew Our Planet, with the goal of developing climate change awareness and motivation for changes in environmental behavior in general, to save the planet for the future of our children.
For this purpose, ZEOS eco-system d.o.o., together with partner C.I.B.O.S. d.o.o., as part of the project Young Environmental Ambassadors, organized a small excursion to the recycling yard Ilijaš, for nine interested students of Osman Nuri Hadžić Elementary School. Students participated at an interactive presentation and knowledge quiz with the mascot, and then had a tour of the entire waste treatment process and recycling yard. The whole project was completed with socializing, sweets and diplomas, where the little environmental ambassadors had the opportunity to talk about the acquired knowledge. During the project, the students collected over 5,000 kilograms of waste.

We invite all citizens and companies to take responsibility, to use the free recycling service of electrical and electronic waste through an authorized and legal collection network, provided by the ZEOS eco-system. E-waste contains valuable, and in some components dangerous chemical substances that are carcinogenic, cause various diseases and pollution if they are not disposed of properly. The purpose of proper disposal is to provide “clean” waste for manual or mechanical treatment and then recycling.
