SOS Children’s Villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina received a donation in the amount of 10,000 BAM from the sale of Somat and Pur products in Bingo markets

During October, under the slogan “Enjoy together and share a meal”, all customers of Somat and Pur products in Bingo markets, directly contributed to the work of SOS Children’s Villages Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The best friend of SOS Children’s Villages Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bingo, continued to support SOS families through a joint project with Henkel. The donation in the amount of 10,000 BAM, set aside from the sale of Somat and Pur products during the month of October, Henkel donated to cover part of the food costs for SOS families. In addition to the monetary donation, Henkel also donated hygiene packages from its product range.

The ceremony of handing over the donor check and hygiene products was attended by: Erol Ferović, Key Account Manager at Henkel, Tatjana Paunoski, Head of Marketing and Dženita Subašić at Bingo, member of the national management team and director of the fundraising and communication department of SOS Children’s Villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina. “Everyone needs attention, especially our little friends from the SOS Children’s Villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina and their mothers. We have been working for a long time to strengthen our partner network when it comes to supporting SOS Children’s Villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Henkel is helping us in preparing nice surprises for children. This time we dedicated our attention to food, as the most important segment of growing up. Our customers have recognized this and supported us as before. We know that we build stories like this one together with them, our partners and customers,” said Tatjana Paunoski, Head of Marketing at Bingo. The donation of 10,000 BAM will be used to prepare 4,578 meals, which is a seven-day coverage of all nutritional needs for 218 children and youth. “The care and support that the organization SOS Children’s Villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina provides to children, young people and families in need can be provided thanks to our dear and dedicated friends. The Bingo company, as the best friend of SOS Children’s Villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been supporting our work for many years. We are really happy that our friends from Henkel joined us in the humanitarian mission, who, in addition to a monetary donation, also supported the SOS families with their product packages.

We are really happy that even in challenging times, we have friends among socially responsible companies who understand our mission that no child should grow up alone and are always ready to be a support to SOS families. SOS Children’s Villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina takes care of 218 children and youth without parental care, and they provide direct support through the Family Strengthening Program for 1,598 children, youth and parents.
